Who am I?
My name is Jackson.
I'm jubilant with a stupid grin & messy hair. I make neat videos and take amateur pictures. I really like pizza and live music. I've only met a select few famous people in my life but that is sure to change.
I make my videos under the name of Aux Cord Productions, a team that consists of myself and two other friends.
Following the conclusion of my high school career, I plan to attend the University of Northern Iowa to learn the ways of filming, videography, lighting, and production. Since I discovered my love and passion for video making during the summer going into senior year, I have not been able to get enough. I am enrolled in the broadcast journalism program at my school where I have the ability to work with high quality cameras and high tech computers. Nearly everything I know about making and editing videos has been self taught. In the major Electronic Media Production/Performance, I will work with others students to explore the latest and greatest ways electronic media has become such a great part of our lives. To become the best that I can be, I want to connect with my professors, I want to collaborate with my peers, and I want to get involved in my community, through the church, possibly my high school, and through local businesses.
I've learned as the oldest brother of 5 that not everything will be handed to me. And it’s been hard to say the least, having no older sibling to look up to. I’m the first to experience all of this new graduation stuff in my family. I aspire to be the first graduate of a four-year college in my family. I must go out and establish myself if I wish to succeed. The opportunities are all right in front of me and I am more than excited to take advantage of them.
